Former Vice-Chair of the NBA Lagos Branch, Mrs. Abiye Tam-George has formally expressed interest in becoming the next Chairman of the NBA Lagos Branch.
The ever amiable and soft-spoken Abiye who has previously distinguished herself in diligent service to the Branch as a former Chairperson, Human Rights Committee (2021-2023) was seen submiting her expression of interest forms at the Branch Office on Wednesday, 9th April, 2025.

who cut across young and senior lawyers expressed delight that she has now taken steps to run for the office, highlighting her enthusiasm to build on the of the previous and current Chairmen and contribute more significantly to the collective growth and advancement of members of the Branch.
In the coming days, Abiye will be expected to share her vision and plans for the Branch as soon as the Electoral Committee gives the green light.
