EFCC Operative Collapses and Dies on Lagos Street

An operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) tragically passed away on Sunday after collapsing on a street in Lagos State.

 

The officer, identified as Remedy S. Yange, reportedly slumped abruptly while on leave from work to spend time with his family, who is staying in Lagos.

Until his death, it was learned that Yange was working at the Benue Office of the anti-graft body.

It was also gathered that Yange was an outstanding EFCC operative known for his involvement in the investigation and prosecution of fraudulent cases in Nigerian courts.

 

The EFCC spokesperson, Mr. Dele Oyewale, confirmed the incident, adding that an investigation is underway to unravel the circumstances behind their late officer’s demise.
