It was gathered that Hon. Azuka, was abducted while returning home at Ugwunaobankpa road, Inland Town Onitsha.

The abducted lawmaker is a chieftain of Labour Party, LP, who regained his mandate after court sacked the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Douglas Egbuna, who was previously announced winner of the 2023 poll.
