In a heartwarming gesture of compassion and community service, the Surulere Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) visited the Pacelli School for the Blind & Partially Sighted Children on December 4, 2024.
A statement signed by Olusola Okuwobi, the Publicity Secretary of the branch, and made available to NEWSWIRE Law Events Magazine, the charity visitation was organized by the Branch’s Dinner Committee, chaired by Malizu Iwudoh Esq., with the active support of the Branch Chairman, Anene Nwadukwe Esq. The school, a beacon of hope since its establishment in 1962, currently caters to 147 pupils and employs 50 staff members under the proprietorship of His Grace Most Rev. Alfred Adewale Martins DD.
The NBA Surulere Branch brought gifts and support to the children, demonstrating their commitment to uplifting the most resilient members of society. This noble act serves as a prelude to the maiden edition of the Surulere NBA Dinner, scheduled for Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Marquee Eagle Club, Adeniran Ogunsanya, Surulere, Lagos.
