A 28-year-old ex-convict, Adeniji Ibrahim was killed in front of his father’s house, in Abule Oke area of Yewa North Local Government Area of the State.
the 28-year-old Ibrahim was killed in the early hours of Wednesday.
It was also gathered that the father of the deceased, Adeniji Kamorudeen reported the case at Imasayi Police Division.
According to the report, “Kamorudeen had reported at the station that some group of people arrested his son with the allegations of stealing and later killed him in the front of his house.
“He stated further that he knew that his son, Ibrahim was a criminal and had just returned from prison for a similar criminal offence, noting that he did not suspect anyone in connection with the case.”
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, said the command is investigating the incident and has declared a manhunt for the assailants.
She said: “ Yes, it is true, the incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday. The command is investigating.”
