As the second month in 2024 gets underway, I, Mrs. Bolatumi Animashaun, wish to join my teeming professional colleagues in thanking Almighty God for granting us the grace to see through the month of January in good health and high spirits. I pray that the blessings that await us in February – as individuals, professionals and members of this noble profession – will not pass us by.
I wish to use this opportunity to also urge my colleagues who are yet to pay their Bar Practicing Fees and Branch Dues to do so as soon as possible – pending the deadline on March 31, 2024.
In case of doubt as to how to pay, as well as other related issues, I also wish to remind you, my esteemed colleagues that you can access the payment portal at https://portal@nigerianbar.org.ng. To log onto the portal, simply input your Supreme Court number and click on your profile. This action will take you straight to your payment page.
In the event that you’ve forgotten your Supreme Court number, there’s absolutely NO cause for alarm. Simply go to www.nigerianbar.org.ng and click, ‘Find a Lawyer’, then type in your full name at call in the search box.
It’s a multipurpose portal, while you’re at it, you can also make payment for additional seals.
While still online, you can also apply for your NBA Stamp application on the portal – but not until you show evidence of having already paid your Bar Practicing Fees and Branch Dues. You can upload the requisite evidence on the portal.
