I profoundly congratulate the Executive Committee, the Planning Committee and members of FIDA Lagos Branch on the occasion of her law week with the theme; Gender Based Violence -stemming the tide.
The theme for this law week is apt and no doubt speaks to the vexed issue of gender based violence and the effort by all in stemming this ugly menace.
I commend FIDA Lagos for their effort and commitment in combating this and other societal ills and I am confident that this conference will provide another avenue for a robust conversation where solutions will be proferred towards stemming this ugly menace in our society.
