As momentum builds towards the 2023 edition of its Annual General Conference, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has received an encouraging boost from the Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris.
In a statement made available to NEWSWIRE Law & Events Magazine, the Conference Planning Committee disclosed that the Kebbi State helmsman will sponsor a free medical outreach for lawyers and indigent Nigerians from the commencement of the Conference (August 25) until well after the conclusion of the event (September 7, 2023).
Another feature of the partnership, according to the statement, will be a Showcase at which the unique selling points of Kebbi State will be exhibited to the assembled conferees, as well as guests, prospective investors and visitors to the state with a view to giving Kebbi State greater visibility within and beyond the Nigerian legal ecosystem.
Kebbi State, it must be noted, is the home state of the President of the NBA, Yakubu C. Maikyau, SAN.
