In the build-up to their annual end-of-year Dinner, members of the Surulere Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), held their Health Walk on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
A statement signed by Olusola Okuwobi, the Publicity Secretary of the branch, and made available to NEWSWIRE Law Events magazine, described the Health Walk, which was sponsored by Neimeth Int’l Pharmaceuticals Plc, BG Pharma and Healthcare Limited, and tagged ‘NBA SURULERE TO THE WORLD’, as a merger between awareness of the need for healthy living and fundamental human rights.
The kick-off point for the Walk was the Magistrate Court 1, on Bishop Kale Street, off Bode Thomas Street. The route stretched through Babs Animashaun, all the way to Adelabu, then to the National Stadium before proceeding back to the starting point via Iponri.
According to the statement, the Branch will be also having its Charity Visitation to the Pacelli School for the Blind on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, as part of the programmes outlined prior to the annual Dinner on Friday, December 6, 2024.
