2019 Lagos Branch Elections: Adefowoke Olubusola Ayo-Ponle’s Profile
I am Adefowoke Olubusola Ayo-Ponle born as Muibat Adefowoke Olubusola Onikosi. I attended Maryam Babangida Girls Science College, Minna, Niger State, this gives me the opportunity to speak Hausa language with fluency.
I hold a Law degree from the prestigious Olabisi Onabanjo University (formerly Ogun State University) Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State and an LLM from the renowned University of Lagos. I am also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK). I was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2005.
I have been privileged to work with Niger Insurance Plc, in its Human Resources department; my stay at the Commercial Law Firm of Adewale Adeniji LP (formerly Adeniji & Oyelola) was memorable. I am currently the Managing Counsel, Firstrose Solicitors a Commercial Law Firm on the mainland of the city of Lagos.
I am a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos Branch, also a member of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators UK (Nigerian Branch), member International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Lagos State Branch, and a member of the Lions Club International.
Adefowoke Ayo-Ponle have attended numerous conferences both National and International, the recent of them is the African Arbitration Conference in Kigali, Rwanda.
As a fashion and décor enthusiast, I offer to serve as the Social Secretary of the prestigious Lagos Bar, to put into bear my social life.
