Surulere Lawyers Forum Visits Physically Challenged Schools
Surulere Lawyers Forum pay a charity visit to the Pacelli School for the Blind and Partial Sighted and Wesley School for the deaf all in Surulere, Lagos, to lift the spirit of the students through donation of various gift items.
The Annual Dinner Event Committee members of the forum made the courtesy visit as part of their corporate social responsibility and to encourage the students to keep alive their dreams and cling to their passion in order to live a fulfilled live.
The chairman of Surulere Lawyers Forum, Mr. Yusuf Bello, said, “It is part of the love Surulere lawyers has for humanity especially people with disabilities in the society.”
He further explained that, the visit is to empower the students and improve their level of self-confidence which will make them grow as “self-actualised citizens.”
The Surulere chair expressed his profound gratitude to the 2018 dinner committee team for the noble idea and love towards the less privilege.
The high-point of their visits was the donation of various gift items, and interacting and embracing the students to show love and lift up their confidence as they enjoined them to increase their thirst for knowledge.
