Rule of Law should be every Lawyers Chief Aspiration – Olu-Adegboruwa
The only time any lawyer can enjoy his/her practice is when the society in which he/she lives and works is governed by the rule of law.

This, according to NEWSWIRE’s correspondent in Lagos, was the view of a renowned lawyer and activist, Mr. Ebun Olu-Adegboruwa, who spoke as a Panelist during a Special Lecture in honour of veteran lawyer and activist, Pa Olatunji Fortunatus Gomez, on the occasion of Gomez’s 90th birthday celebrations.
Insisting that every lawyer was, without exception, an activist by virtue of his calling, Olu-Adegboruwa (who is widely known for having taken the government of Lagos State to court on a number of occasions to challenge certain unpopular policies in the recent past) also opined that the only way to avoid being the victim of injustice in this world was to challenge it frontally.
He described himself as a proud inheritor of the rich legacy of such icons of legal activism as Pa Gomez, Alhaji Femi Okunnu, SAN and others.
