Police Launch Radio Station, Inaugurate Board Members
To enhance communication and combat crime across the country, the Nigeria Police Force has launched a radio station.

This was even as a nine-man board was set up by the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to oversee the smooth operation of the station.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Police Broadcasting Service (NPBS), Edirin Wesley, said the radio station would address the ugly incidences of crime across the country, adding that no nation can combat crimes headlong without credible means of factual and valid information dissemination.
Wesley explained, in a statement, that the NPBS would provide general security information on air, land and sea, with policing and national security its primary focus.
