Oriane Ose Akere Esq.: He Came, He Saw, He Conquered
It was Jonne Donne the English Poet that posited in his poem Death be not Proud, inter alia that:
“Death be not proud, for thou they call thee mighty and dreadful,
…For death shall be no more, death thou shall surely die”
It is with a heavy heart and with total submission to the will of God that the Nigerian Bar Association, Benin Branch-the Lion Bar, announces the death of a former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Branch, Benin Branch (2012 to 2014), Oriane Ose Akhere who died yesterday the 3rd of February, 2020, out of complications from a domestic accident at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).
In Statement in Benin City on Monday the 3rd of February, 2020 by the Chairman, Prince Collins Benson Ogiegbaen AICMC and Secretary, Pius Oiwoh Esq. of the ‘The Lion Bar’ states that it will miss Oriane Ose Akhere for his humility, pacifist mien and crisis management skills .
There is an old classical axiom that says “He whom the gods love dies young”.
We are saying goodbye in pains. “Goodbyes are not forever, it’s not the end; it simply means we’ll miss you until we meet again.
