Okey Ohagba Mourns Former Benin Branch Chairman, Oriane Ose Akere Esq.
In an emotion laden message, a former National Secretary of NBA Young Lawyers Forum and Immediate Past 1st Assistant Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Okey Leo Ohagba, conveyed his condolences to the Benin Bar and the family of late Oriane Ose Akere, Esq, a former Chairman of NBA Benin branch, who, according to the branch, died yesterday morning due to complications from a domestic accident.
Mr. Ohagba in his message described the late Akere as a very humble person, always committed to accomplishing set goals and an ardent supporter of the young lawyers.
“I met him during his days as the Chairman of NBA Benin branch; during which period I was serving as the Secretary NBA-YLF Governing Council. He was an active Bar man who featured prominently in most activities of the Nigerian Bar Association. He was an ardent supporter of the young lawyers. He was always committed to accomplishing set goals.”
