I congratulate the Chairmen and Members of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Maiduguri and Biu Branches on this unique occasion of your 2019 Law Week holding at the International Conference Center, Musa Usman Secretariat, Maiduguri, Bornu State from 11th – 13th February, 2020.
I believe as you deliberate on the week’s activities with the theme: ”Modern Day Legal Practice In Nigeria: Examining Contemporary Challenges”, especially the intellectual discourse sessions, you will be able to critically take a look at myriads of challenges facing our polity and proffer deep and lasting solutions that will have a far lasting positive effect on the polity of our great country – Nigeria.
I urge all participants to make use of the overall interest of the law week to work towards building a strong and united Bar Association, that will be the pride of all members as we embark on a successful and impactful deliberations.
