Okey Ohagba Condemns the Kidnap of Ettah Ebri Ukagu, Appeals for His Immediate Release
I sympathise with the Calabar Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association over the kidnap of Mr. Ettah Ebri Ukagu, which sad incident occurred on 30th Jan., 2020 during the branch’s Annual Law Week.
Mr. Ukagu’s kidnap is a further evidence of Government’s obvious failure in their obligatory duty of protection of lives and property of Nigerian citizens. Insecurity in the country is now at crisis level, and if these tones at the top continue unabated, reprieve would seem only near with the help of God.
While I pray for timely and unconditional release of our abducted colleague, I call on all concerned agencies of government, Federal or State to wake from this deep slumber and save Nigerian lives.
Signed:
Okey Leo Ohagba
Past NBA 1st Asst. Secretary.
