Notice of Constitution of Committees of the Mid-West Bar Forum

TAKE NOTICE that the Executive Committee of the Mid-West Bar Forum at its inaugural Meeting held on Saturday, the 1st day of February, 2020, at Asaba, Delta State, constituted the following Committees to assist the Forum achieve its push to greater heights:

A. A Conference Committee to organize a befitting Conference of the Mid-West Bar Forum to address the drastic decline in Legal Practice and Inability of so many Legal Practitioners within Edo and Delta States, particularly, the Young Lawyers, to make ends meet. B. An Election Committee for the forthcoming N.B.A. General Elections to sensitize and encourage the members of the Mid-West Bar Forum to pick up nomination forms to contest for the various National Offices; Produce/Harmonize the list of the members of the Forum who have indicated interest to contest for offices at the forthcoming N.B.A General Elections; To vigorously campaign at the behest of the Forum on behalf of the Forum’s Candidates so as to ensure victory at the said General Elections; etc. The list of members of the Committee:

C. SPORTS COMMITTEE:

The above Committee aimed at encouraging sports competition between Members of the various Branches that make up the Forum shall be constituted at the Forum’s next Quarterly Meeting by nomination of Members from the various Branches of the Forum.
