NBA Port Harcourt Branch 2018 Election: Sylvester Adaka Emerges New Chairman
The Omubo Frank Briggs led executive were elected and sworn into office on 2nd June, 2016 and the tenure of that administration which came to an end on 1st June, 2018 ushered in a new administration as witnessed in the just concluded election and swearing in of elected officers in the NBA Port Harcourt Branch earlier today.

Newswire Law and Events Magazine Port Harcourt correspondent reports that, the newly elected Chairman, Sylvester Adaka, who recorded 354 votes defeated G.O.A. Joseph who got 252 votes, thanked the members of the election committee for accepting to serve the Bar in this capacity and for delivering a free and fair election. He also appreciated every member of the branch for their comportment during the election process. He concluded by reiterating the importance of the assignment given to this Executive Committee. One of the cardinal programmes of this administration would be the regulation of the legal profession in our branch (PH Bar) and the State.

“As I look forward to achieving a progressive mileage that will be gained by the work of this administration, I have no doubt in my mind that my Excos and even all branch members shall benefit from the work of this new administration,” Adaka said.
