NBA 2019 Annual General Conference to Hold in Lagos
The 2019 Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association will hold in Lagos from 23rd of August to 30th of August 2019.
This was announced at the inaugural meeting of the Technical Committee for Conference Planning (TCCP) chaired by Gbenga Oyebode.
The meeting was attended by the President of the NBA, Mr Paul Usoro; Paul Ananaba SAN; the Chairmen of Kano Branch, Musa Abdullahi, Lagos Branch, Chuka Ikwuazom, Chairmen of Ikere Ekiti and Ilorin Branch; Mrs Mfon Usoro; The NBA General Secretary, Mr. Jonathan Taidi; Welfare Secretary, J. E. Usman and Publicity Secretary, Kunle Edun.
Also present at the meeting were the Chairman of International Bar Association, African Regional forum, Mr. Anthony Atata; Sylvester Udemezue; Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo Okusanya; Chinyere Obasi; Uche Nwadialor; Nta Ekpiken; Endurance Uhunmuavbi, etc
The committee deliberated on the numerous complain of Lawyers over the years regarding annual conferences and has resolved to prevent them in the 2019 conference.
