Lenten: Season of Reflection, Celebration of God’s Sacrifice – J. I. Ogamba, Esq
Lent is a season of reflection and the celebration of God’s sacrifice and love for mankind. His goal was the redemption of humanity. Lent should initiate our awareness of those who need the most attention. To my immediate law constituency, I urge us to use our heart and hands to emulate Jesus Christ within and outside our law practice and the court room. Make Lent your new beginning.
I urge us to pray for inmates in prisons in Nigeria and across the world who are in detention for offenses they know nothing about. Let us spread and sustain the message of love and sacrifice. I wish us all a refreshing time in the lenten season.
