The Babatunde family of Ijagbo, in Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State has announced the glorious transition of their matriarch, Madam Florence Ebunlomo Babatunde (nee Adisa). She was aged 85. Her burial comes up on Friday, October 13, and Saturday, October 14, at her hometown, Ijagbo, Kwara State.
In her lifetime, Madam Babatunde was a respected community and Church leader. She served her community in various capacities.
A statement signed by Mr Layi Babatunde SAN, Editor-In-Chief, Supreme Court Judgments (SC Reports) and issued in Lagos stated that Madam Babatunde who passed on August 7, 2017 is survive children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Babatunde who is one of the children of the deceased stated that the funeral rites for their late matriarch would commence with a Service of Songs at the First Baptist Church, (The Sanctuary of Good News), Ijagbo on Friday, October 13, 2017. This will be followed with a funeral service and thanksgiving at the same church on Saturday October 14, 2017 at 10am in the morning.
Internment will hold thereafter at the church cemetery, followed by entertainment of guests.
