LATE PRINCE U. ENWEREM :
“WE’RE BROKEN” OKEY OHAGBA CONDOLES ENWEREM FAMILY, YLF & NBA AHOADA, DESCRIBES LATE PRINCE AS A DEVOTED TEAMMATE, SUSPENDS ALL NBA ELECTIONS RELATED ACTIVITIES FOR ONE DAY TO MOURN HIM.
I received with rude shock, the heartbreaking news of the death of my friend, colleague and teammate, Prince Ukame Enwerem, who died yesterday, 17th May 2020, after a mild ill health.
The late Prince was a fine gentleman, focused, hardworking, brilliant and always full of smiles. He was until his untimely demise, the Young Lawyers’ Forum (YLF) Chairman of NBA Ahoada Branch.
His passing has no doubt dealt a severe blow not only to his family, the YLF and the entire NBA Ahoada branch, but to all of us his colleagues and friends at the Bar. He will be sorely missed for his exceptional commitment, passion and diligence in service to the Bar and humanity. He was a firm believer in building a bigger and better NBA.
To our colleague, his grieving widow and the little child he left behind, I pray that God will give you the needed strength, grace and fortitude during this trying time. Death has robbed you of a loving, caring husband and dad. I pray that in the midst of darkness and sorrow, God will shower you with His love, light and unending providence; and may the love of family and friends sustain you during this painful period of mourning.
I send these words to console you while I truly and deeply share the sorrow of your broken hearts.
Prince was a devoted member of our team. He was very committed to the objects and visions of the team. He was very eager to witness the birth of a greater and more progressive Bar in the coming elections. We promise you Prince, that with the help of God, we shall accomplish that vision and make you proud while you rest with the Lord. You were a great team mate.
It’s a day of mourning for the entire team, to this end and in honour of our departed team mate, WE HAVE SUSPENDED ALL NBA ELECTIONS RELATED ACTIVITIES FOR TODAY We are indeed broken.
Our deepest condolences with his young family, the NBA and YLF Ahoada branch and the entire Rivers Bar.
May God Almighty rest Prince’s soul in eternal peace.
