I congratulate the Ikeja Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association on the occasion of its 16th Annual Gani Fawehinmi lecture with the theme “Federalism And Whether our Judiciary is under Serious Threat”
The need to appreciate the legal legend, Late Chief Gani Faweihnmi becomes more compelling and necessary considering the theme of this year’s lecture and his contribution in the legal circle during his lifetime
It is my believe that this theme will open another chapter of finding solutions to one of the greatest factor that is necessary for the advancement of a complex society like ours.
I wish us all a great time as we in honour of a man who has left his foot print in the sands of time engage in this intellectual discourse to contribute our own quota to the advancement of the Judiciary in the face of the complexities that the society has thrown at us consciously and unconsciously.
Congratulations once more to the NBA Ikeja Branch and all those who have worked with the Chairman tirelessly to put this together.
