Imo Chief Judge sets up 7-man C’ttee to Impeach Speaker
The Imo State Chief Judge, Mr. Paschal Nnadi has reportedly set up a seven-man committee over the alleged impeachment process against the deputy governor of the state, Eze Madumere by the House of Assembly.
When contacted, the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Mr. Marcel Ekwezuo said he was not certain whether the House has been officially notified on the said committee set up by the Chief Judge and promised to find out.
He also said he was busy participating in the congress of the Imo State All Progressives Congress, APC, during the weekend; promising to give a definite answer on Monday.
However, reports gathered that loyalists to the government have made public the names of members of the seven-man committee allegedly set up by the state Chief Judge.
The names are Nze Saba Nze, chairman; Charles Okoro, Barth N. Opara, Mr. Chika Anosike, Mr. Nwokona Chidozie, Mrs. Olivia Nwanekezi and Amadi Chidinma as members.
