First Nation Airline MD Granted N10m Bail for Alleged Fraud
A N10 million bail was yesterday granted to the Managing Director of First Nation Airlines Kayode Odukoya, by Justice Mojisola Dada, of a Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos.

The judge also ordered the defendant to produce two sureties who are land owners in Lagos State and must deposit title documents with the court and tax clearance for three years.
However, Odukoya was granted bail and a temporary release if he deposited his international passport immediately with the court.
Justice Dada granted him two weeks to perfect the bail condition failure of which the defendant would be remanded in prison custody.
Prior to the pronouncements in granting the defendant bail, the judge ruled against the background of eight principles in granting bail in the eyes of the law, among which are; the defendant will not jump bail, probability of committing the crime, character of the defendant, strength of evidence, seriousness of the prosecution and so on.
Led in Prosecution, Zainab Ettu informed the court that she has instructions not to oppose bail application and which the defence counsel, led by Olawale Akoni and John Odubela made formal bail application and urged the court to grant him bail in liberal terms.
Odukoya was arraigned on March 16, 2018 for theft and forgery by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
