Ekiti Govt Denies Getting N11b Refund on Roads
The Ekiti State government has denied receiving N11 billion refund from the Federal Government for the repairs of Federal roads in the state.

The Commissioner for Finance, Chief Toyin Ojo, described the alleged receipt of the cash as “a mischievous attempt by rabble-rousers to rubbish the enormous achievements of Governor Ayo Fayose”.
Ojo, who spoke yesterday in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, said such information would be on the website of the Federal Ministry of Finance, if it had an iota of truth in it.
The commissioner said the Fayose administration was transparent and involved stakeholders in all aspects of governance.
He cautioned against initiating or spreading falsehood in the state.
Ojo said there was need for stakeholders to work together and support efforts at developing the state and improving the lives of the people.
