Dominican University Ibadan Holds Fund Raising Dinner May 17, 2018
The Dominican University Ibadan (DUI) fund-raising dinner will hold on Thursday May 17, 2018 at the Colonades Hotel, 21 Alfred Rewane Road, Ikoyi, Lagos at 5pm.

The event which is put together by the Fund-Raising Committee of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the University,targets to raise the sum of N1 billion to begin the first phase of the structural development of the permanent site of the university at its Omotosho campus including the building of an administrative building, hostel blocks, cafeteria, an auditorium, faculty building, ceremonial gate, amongst others.
The Dominican University Ibadan is an institution established in 2016 by the Dominican Order also known as the Order of Preachers, a Religious Order in the Catholic Church to make quality education available at affordable cost.
Speaking on the need to support the fund-raising initiative, the Chairman of the Fund-Raising Committee, Dr. ABC Orjiako called on well-meaning Nigerians, Catholicfaithful and friends of the Dominicans to support the laudable project that will see the University achieve its dream of building a University that meets international standard notable with Catholic Universities around the world.
Some of the dignitaries expected at the event include the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Simon Lalong, Mr Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State (and Pro-Chancellor of the University) amongst other dignitaries.
