According to Professor Bola Olayinka, Infection, Prevention and Control Specialist, “social distancing is the best control measure for Corona Virus pandemic.” Remember to take the following additional precautions:
1. Wash your hands frequently using soap and water, sanitizer or an alcohol-based hand rub;
2. Please cover your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing;
3. Use tissue when coughing or sneezing and throw it to the dustbin immediately after;
4. Try to reduce movements and visits outside the home where necessary;
5. It may also be necessary to reduce your travelling between cities, more particularly international travels.
Please note that some countries in other to decisively fight this existential threat to humanity by COVID-19 pandemic have closed borders, shops, markets, bars and vehicles are stopped from carrying passengers. Indeed some States in Nigeria have directed civil servants to work from home in addition to closing tertiary institutions.
One wrong step can wreck a whole destiny.
We must not keep silent to make Nigeria a safe place for our dwelling.
Please stay alive, I love you with my whole heart.
