COVID-19: Ekiti Chief Judge Suspends Court Sittings
Ekiti Chief Judge, Justice Ayodeji Daramola, has suspended court sittings till further notice in line with government’s measures to contain the spread of the Covid-19 in the state.
Daramola said in a statement on Thursday in Ado Ekiti that all stakeholders in justice administration, especially the general public, should note that only urgent or time-bound matters would receive attention during the period.
The Chief Judge said the suspension followed the directive of the National Judicial Council.
He also said that only direct parties to the matters for hearing would be allowed into the court’s premises during hearing of such suits.
