Charles Ajiboye joins Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi as Patron of Youth Organisation
Today is the inauguration of Charles Ajiboye, FICMC (Executive Partner, The Penthouse Law and Publicity Secretary, NBA Ikeja Branch) as Patron of Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria (CYON).
Other older Patrons include Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi (Juli Pharmacy), A lawyer and former Minister of Health; and Engr. Kunle Ogunbayo, former President – Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Past President of the Association of Consulting Engineers Nigeria (ACEN), and past Chairman of the Nigeria Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
The ceremony which takes place at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Ikeja, Lagos by 11am is to be conducted by Msgr. (Dr.) John Aniagwu (the Episcopal Vicar of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos and Chancellor St. Augustine Catholic University).
Charles who has been active in the activities of youths for many years was a Social Prefect as a secondary school student; President, CYON St. Leo’s 18years ago; President, Nigeria Federation of Catholic Students, UNAD; Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association, Young Lawyers Forum (NBA-YLF), Ikeja, Lagos; and was recently sworn in as a Patron of the Young Entrepreneurs of the Government Technical college (GTC ), Ikeja.
Charles who is the Convener of the National IC-CUBE conference for young entrepreneurs is also the Convener of the National Chess Tournament for Nigerian Lawyers.
The CYON is the umbrella body of all youths in the Catholic Church and the St. Leo’s arm has been in existence for over 30years.
It is rumored that Charles will be contesting as National Assistant Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association in the next election.
