The Battle for NBA’s Welfare Secretariat in 2020: Of A Fitting Aspirant And A Befitting Aspiration
When one recalls that welfare itself connotes not only the aggregation of the health, happiness, and fortunes of a person, a people or a group, but also all procedures and efforts designed to promote or enhance basic physical, social and material well-being of a people or group, one cannot but humbly suggest without mincing words that she’s the best-qualified and most-competent to manage the Welfare Secretariat of the NBA National from 2020.
Quite apart from that she is naturally a thoroughly focused and serious-minded bar lady, and a one-in-a-million organizer and manger of corporate events and programs, she understands what it takes to care for human constituents of corporations and associations, and best of all, she is a great believer in, and proponent of, consequentialist welfarism which is founded on the premise that actions, policies, and/or rules should be evaluated on the basis of their consequences and actual economic and social impacts on those for whom the actions are taken, policies are formulated and rules made.
Chinyere Obasi (who by the way is the current 2nd Asst Secretary of NBA National) understands the core welfare needs of the NBA and its members.
Yet, the most cheering news about her current aspiration comes to mind when one recalls how her welfarist skills later got exceptionally sharpened on-the-job while she held sway as the Social Secretary of the gigantic premier Branch: Lagos.
She represents a compatible combination of inbuilt capacity and skill plus relevant experience garnered over several years of dedicated honest service to the Nigerian Bar.
I can therefore honestly and humbly think of none better-fitted to be supported to ascend and occupy this all-important office at the National level of the NBA come August 2020, than this action-speaks-louder-than-voice kind of Amazon.
