Anne Agi Speaks on the Detention and Bail of The NBA Sapele Branch and Appreciates the Sapele and Benin Branches of the NBA

When “The Bar” calls, “The Bar” answers. I want to use this medium to congratulate the NBA Sapele & Benin branches for their overwhelming courage, strength and fortitude to stand bravely against the impunities of the police against the Bar.

I want to felicitate with all the lawyers who “turned-up” in court today when the call was made in support of our colleague, Promise Ademi Akpeto, the Chairman of the NBA Sapele Branch. This goes to show how much we can achieve when we stay with the fundamental principles that holds our core as gentlemen at the Bar.

Once again, “The Bar” has answered one of her own. Let this be a privilege every lawyer in Nigeria enjoys, let this privilege become a “Bar Right” for every lawyer in Nigeria and let this “Right”, not only be on paper or on our lips, but one that every lawyer can call upon when the need arises.
