Ambode’s Special Adviser, Deji Tinubu Slumps, Dies
Deji Tinubu, the Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Commerce is dead.

Unconfirmed reports stated that Tinubu, in his late 40s, died Thursday night after he slumped while playing football.
He was said to have been rushed to General Hospital, Epe where he was confirmed dead.
Sources said Tinubu did not show any sign of sickness as he had attended the ongoing Excos and Permanent Secretaries Retreat earlier.
He was formerly Chairman of the Lagos State Sports Commission and Special Adviser on Sports.
The deceased, a nephew of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was the son of late Chief Kafaru Oluwole Tinubu and Chief Bintu Fatima Tinubu, the Iyalode of Lagos.
He was also the younger brother of Wale Tinubu, Oando CEO.
Efforts to reach Mr. Habib Aruna, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ambode proved abortive as call and text messages sent to him was not responded to.
