The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Lagos Branch, Chukwuka Ikwuazom was yesterday afternoon sworn-in by NBA Lagos Electoral Committee members. The handing over ceremony was witnessed by members and some senior advocates. The Chairman of NBA Section on Business Law Olumide Akpata, Chief Emeka Ngige SAN, Tunde Busari SAN, Pa. Tunji Gomez, Zik Obi, and Emmanuel Ofolue were also in attendance.
In his acceptance speech, the new chairman Chukwuka Ikwuazom commended the outgoing executive members led by Martin Ogunleye, for the new innovations that were introduced into the Lagos Bar especially the Premier branch’s website and whatsapp platform that makes members to communicate 24/7.
He called upon his opponents and all members to join hands with him and work for the good of the branch. Ikwuazom promised to pursue the overall interest of Lagos Branch.
