Okey Ohagha has over the years excelled as a worthy, committed and passionate member of our great Bar. He is the calibre the NBA needs at this critical time to man the Secretariat. He is young, vibrant, hardworking, humble, innovative, intelligent and exceptionally disciplined. There is this adage that says “youths are the leaders of tomorrow “, am glad to tell you that the said tomorrow is here already with Okey. Mr. Ohagba possesses an intimidating profile that stands him out among the rest vying for the position of NBA General Secretary. He has served the NBA in various capacities and understands far better, the workings of the Secretariat, being the immediate Past NBA 1st Assistant General Secretary.
He brings innovation into every assignment and he leaves a legacy of excellence wherever he serves. As National Secretary of NBA Young Lawyers’ Forum, Okey Ohagba displayed exceptional competence, capacity and professionalism in the discharge of his duties while he steered the YLF Secretariat. He developed a comprehensive data base of young lawyers at the time and also reinvigorated the YLF section of the NBA website and kept it up to speed through his tenure.
As NBA first Assistant Secretary, 2016 to 2018, Okey Ohagba once again demonstrated capacity and service excellence by delivering error proof minutes and as well facilitated electronic mailing of minutes and many more during his tenure
