Joyce Oduah, FICMC Commiserates with the Family of Granville Abibo, SAN and NBA, Port Harcourt Branch
I am deeply saddened by the news of the abrupt demise of a distinguished and esteemed Member of our profession, Granville Abibo, SAN, who died at the early hours of today, Monday, 15th June 2020. Until his death, he was an active member of the NBA, Port Harcourt Branch and the Managing Partner of Granville Abibo (SAN) and Co., a full-service law firm headquartered in Port Harcourt.
Undoubtedly, this is the passage of an icon and another great loss to the NBA and the legal profession. Mr. Abibo, SAN was a man with many sterling qualities. Personally, I can attest that he was very humble, vibrant, approachable, upright, compassionate and industrious. He was a leader and mentor to many. He was a perfect gentleman who was highly honoured across the country.
It is very disheartening that we have lost him to the cold hands of death at a time like this. May his gentle soul Rest In Peace. My thought and prayers are with his immediate and extended family and the entire members of the NBA, Port Harcourt Branch.
