NBA Request Full List of Lawyers who Paid Their BPF from Branches
The Nigerian Bar Association has asked all branch chairmen of the Association to provide comprehensive list of all financial members.
In a notice addressed to all Branch Chairmen of the Association and signed by the General Secretary, Jonathan Taidi, branches are to comply on or before 14th April, 2020 with full detail of each member.

Subject: Request for Comprehensive List of Members
Dear Colleague,
I trust that this mail meets you in good health. In the exercise of my duties under the Nigerian Bar Association Constitution 2019 (as amended) I am compiling a roll of members.
To aid the process, each branch Chairman is requested to forward to the national secretariat a list of members who have fulfilled their financial obligations by paying their Bar Practice Fee (BPF) and Branch Dues (BD) as at when due.
The list must contain names, valid phone numbers, active email addresses of members, date BPF was paid and accompanied by photocopy of BD receipts or account statement and reach the General Secretary NBA, NOT LATER THAN 5PM OF TUESDAY 14TH APRIL, 2020. On the NBA request for submission of list of members who have paid Bar practice fee and evidence of payment.
It is imperative for the NBA to state the reason why such submission is being requested. The submission I, believe is for certain reason either for the benefit of members which it should be, or in the interest of the association. Such should be stated in clear words as NBA should not be secretive.
If such submission is for the benefit of members at this period or in future, members can hold the association for her commitment to her committed members.
