Fire Outbreak – Alex Muoka Sympathises With the Nigerian Law School, Kano Campus
I learnt of the distressing news of a fire outbreak at the Kano Campus of the Nigerian Law School at about 10.30pm on Thursday the 13th of February 2020. Although the initial reports were sketchy, it has been confirmed that the fire affected one of the hostels in the School.
We are grateful to God that no lives were lost in the incident. The property of the affected students and hostel structure are material things which can be replaced and rebuilt.
I convey my sympathies to the School authorities and all students – especially those affected by the fire. This is a temporary setback that they will recover from and go on to excel in their bar final examinations.
The Law School calendar is tight, so I urge the School to take necessary measures to ensure that the incident does not disrupt the School calendar and operations.”
