Sabastine Anyia Calls on Government to Ensure Immediate Release of Ettah Ebri Ukagu
Sabastine Anyia, Esq has called on the Government of Cross River State and of the Federation to ensure the immediate release of Ettah Ebri Ukagu of Calabar branch of the NBA forthwith.
It is unfortunate that after the released of Bar. Zainab Kishimi of Jalingo Branch who was kidnapped last week, this week is the turn of Mr. Ettah Ebri Ukagu of Calabar branch of NBA. Who knows who will be next. From north to south it’s the same story of insecurity.
We are now helpless in the hands of these kidnappers, Bandits and even the police.
The prestige of our noble profession is now at stake.
I therefore urge Cross River State government and the government of the Federation to ensure the immediate release of Mr. Ukagu.
I also call on the security agencies to live up to their responsibilities by protecting lives and properties of Nigerians, especially of Lawyers who always place their lives at risk to save others.
