Lawyers Health Insurance Policy: NBA Lagos Branch Commences Plan
The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Lagos Branch, has announced the commencement of Lawyers Health Insurance Plan.
A statement to that effect signed by the Chairlady, Welfare Committee of the Branch, Abiye Tam-George, reads:
Dear Colleagues,
We have finally achieved the most important welfare intervention package, the Health Insurance Plan for members and loved ones of the NBA Lagos Branch in Partnership with Hygeia HMO the first and biggest HMO with over 30 years experience and largest provider network with over 1000 providers.
We leveraged on our strength in numbers to achieve an affordable, detailed and effective Health Insurance Plan for members.
In summary, the services (Covers) includes;
- Annual health check
- General and specialist consultations
- Laboratory tests
- Optical care
- Physiotherapy
- Routine immunization for children 0-5 years.
- Additional immunization for children 0-5 years
- Pharmacy benefit for refill drugs
The Premium Individual is #28,610 annually.
Family is individual cost summed up together with the number of family members.

After payment of the Premium you will be given the Hygeia HMO Registration form, the services (covers), list of hospitals and HMO identification (ID) number.
