Filagust Media, an innovative media content solutions company, in association with NEWSWIRE Multimedia, is conducting a 2-day Training Course in Scriptwriting for Media  on Thursday, January 16 and Friday, January 17, 2020 at 143/145 Broad Street, Above IBTC Stanbic Bank, Marina, Lagos.

The course, which is aimed at helping hone and update the skills of aspiring and established media writers, will teach participants the technical and creative nitty-gritty of key areas of media content output such as Drama (especially screenplays for full-length feature films as well as series and serials); news; documentaries; commercials and branded content.

Conducted by ace scriptwriters and content solutions experts, the course will teach participants the will to learn and master how to use words, phrases, idioms and imagery in an effective and persuasive manner designed to elicit the desired response form their target audience, as well as their current and prospective client and customer base.

For aspiring writers desirous of making a career in the media, whether as journalists and editors in the print, electronic or digital media spaces, media consultants, marketing communications and content solutions providers, producers, directors, or as online bloggers/bloggers, etc., this training is an indispensable guide into the fascinating world of audiovisual expression. For established practitioners, it is a unique opportunity to update one’s skills in order to remain competitive in a dynamic and ever-changing media marketplace.

Registration is at 09.00 am on Thursday Jan. 16, 2020 at the above-mentioned venue, while each day’s lesson begins at 10.30 am, and ends at 2.00 pm, with a 15-minute break at 12.30 pm. These times are flexible, and can be adjusted as the need arises, as long as the goal of each lesson day is achieved.

Fee is N30,000:00.
