Judges, Senior Advocates, Others Grace Chief Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN’s Daughter’s Call to Bar Reception

It was all joy, pomp and circumstance as dignitaries in the country’s legal profession thronged the law office of Chief Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN & Associates to felicitate with him on his daughter’s Call to Bar on 27/11/2019.

Adaobi Oluoma Okafor Esq, daughter of Chief Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN, was among the successful candidates of the Nigerian Law School called to the Bar on 27/11/2019. After her Call to Bar ceremony at The Nigerian Law School, Bwari, she and her friends and well wishers moved to No. 1 T.O.S. Benson Street, Utako; the Abuja branch of the law firm of Chief Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN& Associates which is the venue of the After-Call Reception.

Gracing the occasion with their presence were several Justices and Judges from various courts in the country, multitude of Senior Advocates of Nigeria, regional and branch Bar Executives and a host of other lawyers all over the federation. The amiable learned silk and his wife could not hide their joy as they received and hosted their important guests in style.

Chief Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN via his Facebook page expressed his joy on the Call to Bar of his daughter. He also appreciated those who honoured his invitation and as well formally welcomed his daughter and call-mates to the Nigerian Bar thus:

“It was indeed a joyous moment for me and my family as my daughter, Oluoma was called to the Nigerian Bar yesterday.

I am deeply grateful to the learned Justices and Judges of various courts in the country, my brother silks, the Governor of Eastern Bar Forum, the Executives and members of the Unity Bar Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, other lawyers and eminent Nigerians as they felicitated with me by gracing the occasion of my daughter’s After-Call Reception with their august presence. It is my fervent prayer that joy and celebration shall not depart from them and their homes.

I also use this medium to heartily welcome my daughter and her call-mates to the largest Bar in West Africa. May they find success and fulfilment in this noble profession of ours.”

Adaobi Oluoma Okafor, Esq is the first child of Chief Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN and his wife, Chioma Okafor, Esq. She is a graduate of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State. Chief Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN was among the contestants for the office of President of the Nigerian Bar Association in the last NBA National Officers Election.
