I, Okey Ilofulunwa, wish to express my deepest and heartfelt appreciation to members of the Lagos branch of the Nigerian Bar Association for the confidence you have reposed in me by electing me as your vice-chairman for the next two years. I feel really humbled by this gesture, and I pledge to do my utmost to make sure that your confidence in me is not misplaced.
The task before the incoming executive led by my brother, Yemi Akangbe, is enormous, but so is our resolve to use all the resources at our disposal to meet the challenges and maximize the opportunities we will face going forward. We intend to build on the legacies of the outgoing executive in order to keep our beloved premier branch on an ever-upward moving trajectory of success and growth.
