FINAL NOTES:
Respected colleagues, it is not remiss to remember past administrations of the Bar at this point, including the outgoing administration. They have all done well considering the circumstances in which they took over the administration of the NBA and within their capacity. They have attempted laudable reforms and made great efforts at charting a positive path for our dear NBA and the Legal Profession in Nigeria.
We commend in a special way all their successful efforts and particularly, the initiators, builders and supporters of the NBA House project. Together with our #ALLINCLUSIVEBAR team, we pledge to do all in our powers to maintain that edifice as the NBA House stands tall in the nation’s capital with pride reminding us that this noble Association can achieve anything if we all pull in the same direction.
We recall the monumental sacrifices made by lawyers living and dead to make the NBA and indeed the Legal Profession great. We appreciate all of you and the #ALLINCLUSIVEBAR will keep your legacy alive.
We thank our colleagues for their patience these many days, weeks and months when we intruded into their lives with our barrage of email and text messages. Thank you again for you bore it all with equanimity and good grace!!! The #ALLINCLUSIVEBAR will now go about implementing the promises we made to you in those messages if you trust us with your votes.
Respected colleagues, it is said that the biggest room in the world is the room for improvement. We promise to improve on all the good initiatives of past administrations as we vigorously pursue our vision for the Bar and collectively deliver the NBA of your dreams, if you support the #ALLINCLUSIVEBAR vision and vote ARTHUR OBI OKAFOR, SAN as President of the NBA in the forthcoming NBA Elections.
