Concerned Young Lawyers write Commissioner of Police over Brutality, Assault and Threat to Life of Mr. Olakunle Karimu by Two Officers
The said brutality and dehumanization took place on Friday 29th of June, 2018 on the instruction of Mr. Oluyomi Olawore, the Principal Partner & Head of Chambers at OLUYOMI OLAWORE & CO., 5th Floor, Itiku House, 28/30, McCarthy Street, Onikan, Lagos.
The employer had asked the victim to vacate the office premises, to return by month’s end for his June salary without any word(s) about the victim’s tax receipts in the past months. Following persuasion by other members of staff while the victim was in the office of the employer, he (employer) issued a cross post dated cheque for 29th of June 2018, covering the victim’s said salary, with the promise that the tax receipts would be ready on the same day….
