Obianuju Mary Chukwuma-Okafor Welcomes Colleagues to NEC Meeting in Ilorin
As the Nigerian Bar Association, National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting commences today, in Ilorin Kwara State, I wish all NEC members, observers and other participants a safe journey to Ilorin. We make this journey to various locations because of the great love we have for our profession.
I am very optimistic the meeting will present avenues for fruitful deliberations especially with regard to issues that would improve legal profession, the practice and the practitioners. I am also confident, issues of national importance will also be given deserving attention.
I have no doubt that outside the serious issues to be discussed, we will find time for camaraderie and other memorable social engagements.
I congratulate the leadership and entire members of NBA, and the Ilorin Branch for agreeing to host the NEC meeting.
I pray that God will take us back safely to our various destinations.
