As part of activities marking the opening of the 57th Annual Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the association’s president, Abubakar Balarabe Mahmud, SAN, worshipped at a special Muslim service at the Lagos Central Mosque. The NBA helmsman was accompanied at the service by other key NBA officials, among them Dr. Muiz Banire, SAN, who is also the national legal adviser of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as other leading lawyers. The 2017 Conference, which opens Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Landmark Centre on Victoria Island, Lagos under the theme: “African Business: Penetrating through Institution Building,” will attract a galaxy of distinguished speakers from across the globe, who will conduct discussion during thirty-one conference sessions.
