Why Mamora Rejected Buhari’s Appointment
The Deputy Director of General Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organisation in 2015, Sen. Olorunnimbe Mamora, has rejected an appointment offered him by the president.

Buhari had nominated Mamora, a former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, as the Chairman of the Board, Abuja Investment and Infrastructure Centre (AIIC).
However, a former APC gubernatorial aspirant in 2016, Mrs. Jumoke Ajasin-Anifowoshe, was sworn in to the position a few weeks ago, when the board was inaugurated by the FCT Minister, Muhammad Bello.
It was learnt that Mamora had rejected the appointment and approached the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha, to convey his displeasure.
Mamora, a senator who represented Lagos East senatorial district from 2003 to 2011, reportedly felt that the appointment was beneath him.
