The Plateau State Judiciary has omitted the strike period of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, from the calculation of time for the purpose of paying default fines for the filing of court processes.
As revealed in a Practice Direction the State’s Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Yakubu Gyang Dakwak, stated that the exemption applies to both criminal and civil issues.
